The history of Crevan Island began in the 19th century when an Austrian military garrison occupied the island from 1815 until 1866.
Later the occupation passed to the Italian Army until after the First World War (1914-1918). Today the island is privately owned.
A complete restoration of the dortress have been carried out by the owners to fit it for habitation.
The island of Crevan is located in the most charming position in the Lagoon of Venice, in front of the well-known islands of Burano, Murano and Torcello.
An oasis of peace in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The surface of the island is about 5,500 square meters, with lush and secular trees, wide green spaces and a flourishing orchard.
The fort, completely renovated, has an area of appromaximately 170 sqm and is equipped with electricity, water, heating and air conditioning.
Crevan offers a spectacular view over the Island of Burano.
